Jammu city has a unique cuisine and the Dogra dishes are famous all around India.
Tourists coming in Jammu must taste these delicious dishes:Rajma, Aloo Dum, Kashmiri Pulao and Patisa are the prominent dishes that have a special and mouth watering taste.
Jammu is famous all over India for
Chocolate Barfi, Sund Panjeeri, Patisa and Rajma. Another renowned dish prepared here is Kalaadi (a processed cheese).Jammu people make some of the famous Dogri dishes like Ambal, Khatta Meat, Kulthein di Dal, Kashmiri Aloo Dum, Phirni, Kashmiri Pulao, Dal Patt, Maa da Madra, and Auriya.Pickles of Kasrod, Girgle, Zimikand, Tyaoo, Seyoo, and Potatoes are also made.Jammu is famous for Gol Gappas, Kachaalo, Gulgule, Rajma Kulche etc.
A 36-course meal called Wazwan is also prepared made by 30 non-veg dishes.

You would probably found Faluda/Matka Kulfi ice cream in Main Purani Mandi Chowk, while seeing the beauty of the ''City of Temples''. You can visit to Ragunath Bazar which is very famous for cultural representation of Jammu and Kashmir, it will become easy for you to purchase those souvenirs you were looking for. You name one thing and you will find that here.

Banta Soda
I've mentioned about banta earlier also on my blog so you can refer that post for the details.
You will be full after having one plate of Channa Bhatura, which will easily be available at Kanak Mandi Chowk/Rajinder Chowk. It is finger licking good.
Day-2 Today we will start with something spicy.
This is for really spice lovers, as Indians are So if any international tourist like to taste India's speciality i.e. spices will truely find the amulgum in it. It will be easy for you to find these in Raj Tilak Chowk in Jammu. You will find a heritage exposure of Jammu or a kind of historic background in this area.
You will really be impressed after having this Chatpata-Spicy-Chaat, You will just love it , You can visit Bhave wali Mata and can consume the perfect Kachaalu Chaat here.
You can also visit the Bahu Fort which is just next to it.
You'll surely find it in Bahu Fort.
Day-3
It is a speciality for Jammu, or in other words ''Ye Jammu Walo Ki Shaan aur Jaan Hai''
Yes!! It is really very famous as Big Celebrities had also visited this Dhaba. You can taste anything here which will surely be tasty.
Kaladi is fermented cheese, which is so cheesy and yummy that if you will taste it once you will surely crave for it afterwards. You will find it anywhere you want.
If you remember about these in my previous post, you will get to know about this dish from there and you will come to know about it's taste from Samba. You can visit many forts and much more farms here. It is a beautifull place, which will let you meet nature.
People who are sweet tooth, will get relly impressed after having it. Thandi Khui also has a great history, so what are you waiting for visit it and resaerch the history through the local people.
